This weekend is a low-key weekend because Austin is on call. Every few weeks he’s on call for work, and if he gets called in he has to be to work within the hour, so for those weeks we stick close to home, but no complaints here! From busy work schedules during the week to being on the go the past few weekends, it’s nice to have a kick back and relax weekend.
We have a few small projects we’re working on around the house, like painting the stairway and upstairs hallway, but other than that we don’t have too many plans which is really refreshing!
With Hannah’s and my first craft show coming up in about a month, this is going to be a weekend full of crafts. It doesn’t get much better than that, right?! On my list for today is to make a handful of more baby socks on the tiny loom and to sew doggie bow ties out of all of the fabric quarters I picked up on sale at Joann Fabrics a few weeks ago.
We’re nearing the final countdown to our first craft show, so I’m spending the weekend making as much as I can! Then next weekend, Hannah and I are getting together to do a mock setup of our craft fair booth to see what we need more of, nail down how our display will look and all of that good stuff.
So, today you’ll find me crafting in my sweatpants with lots of coffee nearby. Have a great Saturday, everyone!
